Report on shooting incident
On April 5, 2009 at 5:30 in the afternoon at Barangay Ipil, Surigao City, PNP elements of Surigao City Police Station led by PINSP Ronel Bangalisan responded to the telephone call regarding shooting incident.
Initial investigation disclosed that both victims while having on their drinking spree at the videoke house owned by a certain Josephine Fediles, a misunderstanding ensued between the victims identified as Archie Gargao, 26 years old, married and tricycle driver; and Joseph Calang Tabor, 40 years old, married, jobless, both residents of Purok-6, Barangay Canlanipa, Surigao City; and the group of the suspect identified as Rolando Quita alias “Nonoy”, of legal age, single and resident of Barangay Mabua, Surgiao City.
When the victims left the videoke house, suspect tailed them and upon reaching infront of Joevil Cano's residence, they were shot several times using undetermined caliber of short firearm hitting Archie Gargao on his neck while Joseph Tabor on his right elbow.
Victims were brought to hospital for medical treatment. Suspect fled upon the arrival of the responding Police Officers.

Report on traffic incident
On April 5, 2009 at 5:30 in the afternoon at the National Highway of POBA, Santiago, Agusan del Norte, a certain Evelyn Platilla, of legal age, married and resident of said place was accidentally bumped by a single motorcycle Honda Wave bearing plate number KS 3087, driven by one Ian Mordeno, 40 years old, married and resident of Barangay Jagupit of Santiago, Agusan del Norte.
Initial investigation disclosed that said motorcycle was traveling said highway heading towards town proper and upon reaching at said place, the victim suddenly ran across the road which resulted to the incident.
The driver one Ian Mordeno and backrider Allan Mordeno and the victim Evelyn Plantilla sustained serious injuries to the different parts of their bodies and they were rushed to Cabadbaran District Hospital for medical treatment.
Motorcycle involved was brought to Santiago Municipal Police Station for custody. Case now under investigation for proper disposition. (PNP-13/ PIA-Caraga)
Report on illegal gambling
On April 5, 2009 at 6:45 in the evening at Barangay Magsaysay, Placer, Surigao del Norte, PNP elements of Placer Municipal Police Station led by PSINSP Recimo while conducting mobile patrol apprehended the suspect identified as Eric Pabas Sanico (bet collector), 29 years old, single and resident of said place actually caught having in his possession gambling paraphernalia for “swertres” and bet money amounting to Php 267.00.
Subject person was brought to placer Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Also, on April 6, 2009 at 10:20 in the morning at Purok-7, Barangay Port Poyohon, Butuan City, PNP elements of Vice Control Section of Butuan City Police Station 1 led by SPO4 Castolo Jr conducted operation against illegal gambling which resulted to the confiscation of one unit fruit game machine while the caretaker evaded arrest.
Said machine was brought to Vice Control Section for proper recording and

PNP arrests wanted persons
On April 6, 2009 at 4:30 in the afternoon at Purok-1, Barangay Bangonay, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte, PNP elements of 14thRMG led by SPO1 Lauro P Millor, Sr conducted operation against wanted person which resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Michael Solonia Delarmente, 29 years old, single and resident of said place.
Suspect has a standing alias warrant of arrest (WOA) docketed under CC number 1334 for theft with recommended bailbond amounting to Php 4,0000.00 issued by Hon Judge Rolando T Literato of MCTC, Taganaan, Surgiao del Norte dated November 21, 2007.
Arrested person is now under the custody of 143rd RMG Company for documentation prior to turn over to the issuing court.
Also, on April 8, 2009 around 7:30 in the morning at Purok-3 Capangdan, Barangay Urbiztondo, Claver, Surigao del Norte, PNP members of Claver Municipal Police Station headed by PSInsp Ruben Daraman, COP arrested a certain Galo Gonzaga Jr alias "Titing", 32 years old, electrician, single and a resident of the above-mentioned place.
The arrest was made by virtue of WOA issued by Judge Victor Canoy, Acting Presiding Judge RTC 1Oth Judicial Region branch 3O for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under Criminal Case Number 8197 with recommended bail bond amounting to Php 2OO,OOO.OO.

Report on illegal logging
On April 6, 2009 around 9:15 in the evening at Barangay Adlay, Carrascal, Surigao del Sur, PNP personnel of Carrascal Municipal Police Station led by SPO4 Charles Trugillo and 142nd RMG COY together with two DENR personnel namely Mr Apolinario Correos and Mr Florencio Castro, were able to confiscate one unit FUSO Elf Truck, color white, marked "Divine Mercy" bearing plate number YAU 587 driven by Nicolas Guardalupe Tiu.
Subject vehicle was loaded with estimated 1,5OO board feet of assorted dimensions of Lawaan sawn lumbers en-route to Placer, Surigao del Norte.
Said vehicle and the confiscated lumbers are now under the custody of Carrascal Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Also, on April 7, 2009 around 10:15 in the morning at Barangay Soriano, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur, joint operation conducted by DENR-CENRO personnel of Bislig City namely Ranolfo L Climaco, Felomino Rivera and Benhur Balderama with the PNP elements of 1406th PPMG led by PO3 Andres Bariquit recovered 60 illegally cut logs abandoned at Sitio Matanog, Barangay Soriano, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur.
Confiscated logs are now under the custody of Bislig City Police Station for proper disposition. (PNP-13/ PIA-Caraga)
