Arroyo sa pagpang-apod-apod sa maong cash cards.
Mismong si 4P’s focal person Wilma B. Geralla sa DSWD-Caraga and misaysay nga plantsado na ang listahan sa mga beneficiaries nga makadawat sa maong cash cards ug kini magikan sa 12 ka mga barangay sa maong lugar.
Gikatahong miabot sa 1,833 household beneficiaries ang makadawat sa maong programa sa Presidente.
Dugang ni Geralla, ang kinatibuk-ang kantidad nga ipang-apod-apod mikabat na sa P5 milyon sa maong probinsya.
Sa rehiyon sa Caraga, nakatabang ang maong programa sa gobyerno nga may pundong kapin P178,705,000 ang nahatag ngadto sa pamilyang nakabenipisyo niini.
Sa talaan sa 4P’s program, halos 73,016 ka pamilyang Pilipino na sa tibuok Caraga Region ang nabenipisyuhan sa maong pinansyal nga tabang sa gobyerno, sulti ni Geralla.
Ang 4P’s program sa gobyerno ang tipik sa dakong solusyon sa pagpakunhod sa poverty incidence nga kasamtangang nasinati sa nasud sa Pilipinas.

Violation of Comelec gun ban
On January 12, 2010 at 1:00 in the afternoon, one Brgy Captain Larry Bautista of Brgy Bonifacio, Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte reported to Las Nieves Municipal Police Station that a certain Ronie Canque Raganas, 33 years old, single and resident of said place has illegally discharged his firearm at said place.
Upon arrival of responding PNP elements led by SPO1 Peter Cutao, they saw the suspect carrying one unit homemade shotgun and when confronted, suspect fired his firearm but missed to hit the responding team. Suspect fled but apprehended by the responding policemen.
Confiscated from his possession were one unit homemade shotgun, one live ammo and one spent shell recovered at the scene. Arrested person was brought to Las Nieves Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges in court.
One Wilson Lebosada Quilaton, 40 years old, single and resident of Purok-1, Brgy Guinoyoran, Santiago, Agusan del Norte was arrested by PNP elements of Cabadbaran City Police Office led by PCINSP Zozimo Duarte on January 12, 2010 at 3:00 in the afternoon after a report from a concerned citizen that a suspicious looking person was roaming around at Purok 2, Brgy 9, Cabadbaran Agusan del Norte.
Suspect actually caught in his possession one unit cal .45 pistol with serial number 915791, two pieces magazine with 16 live ammos. Arrested person now temporarily detained at Cabadbaran City Police Station for proper disposition. Progress report to follow. (PNP-13/ PIA-Caraga)

Report on found dead body
One male dead body was found lying at the farmland located at District Gemelina, Brgy Talisay, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte on January 11, 2010 at around 12:50 in the afternoon. The victim identified later as one Carmelito Cadana, 54 years old and resident of said place.
Initial investigation disclosed that said person was always seen drunk since New Year's Eve and was last seen buying a cigarette in a store at Brgy 7, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte. There were no signs of injuries or wounds on his body. Investigation is still going on. Progress report to follow. (PNP-13/ PIA-Caraga)

On January 12, 2010 at about 11:30 in the morning at Purok 3, Brgy Ampayon, Butuan City, one Hyundai Starex van bearing plate number JCK 272 driven by Nilo Mercado, 38 years old, married and resident of Purok-22, Sambulawan St, Bayugan City while traveling along national highway bound for Bayugan and upon reaching crossing Villa Paraiso Subdivision accidentally bumped a pedestrian identified as Jeremias Palero Sr, 70 years old, married and resident of Purok-4, Ampayon, Butuan City resulting to his instantaneous death.
The driver voluntarily surrendered at Butuan City Police Station 4 while case for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide has been prepared for filing in court. Victim's remain now lies at St Peter Memorial Homes, Ochoa Ave., Butuan City. (PNP-13/ PIA-Caraga)
