Report on illegal gambling
Intel personnel of Surigao City Police Station (SCPS), Surigao del Norte led by Police Inspector Fructouso Jabonero apprehended one Emma Amparado y Agustin, 51 years old, married, barbecue vendor and a resident of Navalca, Brgy. San Juan, Surigao City for violation of R.A. 9287 (Illegal Numbers Game) locally known as "swertres" at around 6:30 in the evening of October 13, 2010 at Vasquez Street, Washington, Surigao City.
Said suspect was caught in the act engaging in the said illegal gambling activity. Confiscated from her possession were: one (1) tally sheet with bet numbers dated October 13, 2010; assorted tally sheets; six (6) pads stubs; one (1) Casio calculator; three (34) ballpens; P306.00 bet money; one (1) carbon film; and other illegal gambling paraphernalia.
On the other hand, at around 6:45 in the afternoon of same date at B&B Art Works, Vasquez Street, Washington, Surigao City, said intel personnel apprehended a certain Bebina Curada y Janier, 58 years old, married, jobless and a resident of said place for violation of R.A. 9287. Said suspect was caught in the act engaging in illegal gambling activity "swertres".
Confiscated from her possession were: one (1) tally sheet; one (1) tally sheet with bet numbers; one (1) Casio calculator; and P50.00 bet money. Apprehended persons and confiscated items are now under the custody of SCPS for proper disposition. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)
Surigao City cops arrests wanted person
A certain Christine Emnase Basco, 20 years old, out of school youth and a resident of Interior Capitol Road, Brgy. Washington, Surigao City was arrested by elements of Surigao City Police Station (SCPS) led by PO3 Carlito Hilaos on October 13, 201 at around 3:00 O'clock in the afternoon at Luneta Park, Surigao City.
Said suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Victor Canoy, Presididng Judge, RTC Branch 29, Surigao City for violation of section 10 (A), RA 7610 (Child Abuse) docketed under criminal case number 8937 with corresponding bail bond of P80,000.00. Arrested person is temporarily under the custody of SCPS pending for issuance of commitment Order from the issuing court. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)
Report on roberry incident
On October 13, 2010 at around 6:45 in the afternoon at the boundary of Brgy. Cubo and P-11, Brgy. Poblacion, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, four (4) unidentified suspects armed with undetermined caliber of short firearms flagged down the motor vehicle driven by one Albert Mira y Brigader, 25 years old, married and a resident of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur with two passengers identified as Brian Irvic Gubaynon y Plaza, 21 years old, single and a resident of Lianga and Teodolo Condolon y Boquilla, 26 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Wacat, Barobo, all of Surigao del Sur, both Collecting agents of Enterprise Bank, Bayugan Branch, Agusan del Sur.
Upon receipt of the said report, elements of Esperanza MPS led by Police Inspector Ronniel L. Bangalisan together with personnel of 26 IB, Alpha Coy, PA led by 1Lt. Kresnen Peter Sarsagat proceeded to the place of incident to conduct investigation and pursuit operation. Investigation disclosed that Albert Mira sustained splinter wounds when one of the suspects fired his firearm into the ground.
He was brought to Esperanza Medicare Hospital for medical treatment. Suspects carted the collected money of the said collecting agents allegedly amounting to P19,000.00. Personnel of Esperanza MPS is still conducting follow up investigation for possible identification and arrest of the suspects. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)

Intel personnel of Butuan City Police Station (BCPS) 1 led by Police Inspector Ledesma together with personnel of Butuan City Public Safety Company led by PO3 Romar Omoy while conducting Police visibility patrol at P-4, Brgy. San Ignacio, Butuan City at around 9:30 in the morning of October 14, 2010, apprehended one Victor Mendoza y Pasgala, 25 years old, married and a resident of Holy Redeemer, Butuan City for being caught in the act violating RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002).
Confiscated from his possession were five sachets of suspected shabu, one disposable lighter, one small bag color red, one kitchen knife measuring 12 inches long including handle, one black canister and cash money amounting to P191.00.
Body search of the victim was witnessed by Brgy. Officials of the said Brgy, DOJ and media representatives. A Case is being prepared for filing in court against the suspect. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)

Burning of one (1) unit Hauler truck of SUDECOR that transpired on October 6, 2010 at Carmen, Surigao del Sur. A case for violation of article 321 of Revised Penal Code (Arson) was already filed against the suspect AKA "Ka Rodel" and five (5) John Does at the Prosecutors Office, Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, docketed under NPS-111-07B-INV-10IC-00101 dated October 12, 2010.
