Report on robbery/hold-up incident
On November 16, 2010, around 7:00 O’clock in the evening, one Hyundai Grace passenger van color gray, bearing plate number LYE 504, registered under the name of Romeo P. Lambot and presently owned by one NiΓ±o Jack Pongo, 21 years old, single and driven by one Ramil Iligan Escanilla, 25 years old, single, both residents of Navalca, Brgy. San Juan, Surigao City, was allegedly robbed/held-up by three (3) unidentified suspects, in which two of whom were wearing “tubaw”/shawl while the other one was wearing bonnet and armed with caliber 45 pistol.
Investigation disclosed that while the said vehicle was traveling from Butuan City going to Surigao City and upon reaching at the National Highway of Brgy. Alipao, Alegria, Surigao del Norte, one suspect who was seated behind the driver, pulled a caliber 45 pistol from his waist and declared hold-up, while his two companions divested the valuable items of the passengers. Items taken by the said suspects were: one piece gold necklace worth P7,880.00, one piece gold bracelet worth P7,500.00, one Nokia cellular phone 91K and cash money amounting to P5,500.00 from Nenita Behing Pedrosa, 42 years old, married, businesswoman and a resident of Navalca, Brgy. San Juan, Surigao City; cash money amounting to P700.00 and Nokia cellular phone from the owner of the said vehicle; and cash money amounting to P500.00 from one Mark Glenn Moca Espinoza, 22 years old, single and a resident of Poblacion, Alegria, Surigao del Norte.
Said victims reported to Surigao City Police Station and elements of the said station coordinated and referred the case to Alegria MPS for further investigation. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)
Report on shooting incident
At around 5:00 O’clock in the afternoon of November 16, 2010, a certain Emmie Caligang y Tura, 31 years old, married, farmer and a resident of P-1, Brgy. Pangyan, Trento, Agusan del Sur reported to Trento MPS that his brother, Remmie Caligang y Tura, 36 years old, married, a resident of P-1 and a newly elected Brgy. Captain of the said Barangay was shot to death by tow (2) unidentified suspects.
Investigation disclosed that the informant and the victim were on their way home on board a single motorcycle, which was driven by the victim and upon reaching at Sito Bolisong of the said barangay, the said suspects who were walking beside the road suddenly drew their handgun of unknown caliber and shot the victim several times, which resulted to his instantaneous death. Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) piece deformed lead of caliber 45 pistol.
Remains of the victim was brought to Dollete Funeral Home for autopsy. Elements of Trento MPS are still conducting follow-up investigation for possible identification and arrest of the suspects. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)
Escape of a detainee
One Leolito Ilogon y Montenegro, 34 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok-1, Brgy. Sagbayan, San Miguel, Surigao del Sur, accused for murder of the late Sangguniang Bayan member Valentin Campos y Morales docketed under NPS-XIII-07-INV-10K-00361 escaped from detention cell of San Miguel MPS, around 8:40 in the morning of November 17, 2010.
Initial investigation disclosed that the said detainee asked the jail guard PO1 Rosino Gemao for his (escapee) personal necessity. Since there is no comfort room inside the detention cell, he was permitted to have his personal necessity at the comfort room outside and later the jail guard found out that the said detainee escaped thru the exit of the back fence going to mountainous area of Sitio Suba, Brgy. Tina, San Miguel Surigao del Sur.
Immediately, elements of San Miguel MPS led by Police Inspector Martizano conducted hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the said detainee but to no avail. Subsequently, one team from Surigao del Sur Provincial Police Office led by SPO3 Emmanuel P. Islang was augmented to San Miguel MPS to conduct follow-up investigation and still in the area, conducting manhunt operation for possible arrest of the said escapee. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)
Surigao City cops arrest wanted person
Elements of Surigao City Police Station led by PO3 Carlito Hila-os Jr. arrested a certain Rolland Edillor y Corvera, 28 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of Sitio Buyho, Brgy. San Jose, Surigao City, around 5:00 O’clock in the afternoon of November 14, 2010 at the abovementioned place. Said person has a standing Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Victor A. Canoy of MTCC Branch 2, Surigao City for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under criminal case number 15863, with recommended bail bond of PhP12,000.00.
Arrested person is now detained at Surigao City Police Station, waiting for the issuance of commitment order from the issuing court. (PNP-13/PIA-Caraga)

Kini nga panagtigum nagalaum nga mahisgutan ang mga isyu kabahin sa pasilidad, katakus sa matag organisasyon nga mudumala sa nagkalain-laing pa-ugnat sa kusog, mga benepisyo ug scholarship nga mahimong makuha sa matag miembro, ang pag-organisa og pagpili sa opisyales nga maoy mutindog alang sa grupo ug ang pagplano sa mga himoong kalihokan sulod sa tuig 2011.

Cebuano News: Nagkadaiyang serbisyo itunol sa taboan
Pipila ka mga adlaw karon ablihan na ang bag-ong edipisyo sa bag-ong Taboan nga nahimutang atbang sa terminal, Langihan ning dakbayan sa Butuan.
Tinguha sa buhatan sa City Economic Enterprise (OCEED) ubos sa pagdumala ni Ms. Ruth Jugao nga itunol ang mga nagkadaiyang serbisyo sulod sa edipisyo sa Taboan sama sa parlor, awot, manicure, pedicure, masahe ug uban pa.
Tumong sa maong plano nga dili lamang ang pagpamalit sa mga gulay ug utanon ang matagamtaman sa Taboan apan apil usab ang mga nasangpit nga serbisy aron mamahimo kini nga “one stop shop” alang sa mga ginikanan, mamalitay ug negosyante nga sagad kulang sa oras sa pag-pagwapa ug pagrelax.

Nasuta sa buhatan sa City Economic Enterprise (OCEED) ubos sa pagdumala ni Ms. Ruth Jugao nga sagad sa mga negosyante nga ibiyahe paballik sa ilang lugar ang mga produkto nga wala mabaligya o kaha ibaligya na lamang kini sa ubos kaayo nga presyo. Tungod sa maong panghitabo, lugi ang mga negosyante ug halos walay kitaon sa ilang mga produkto.
Isip pag-abag sa mga gagmay’ng negosyante, planong pagatukuron sa OCEED ang usa ka “storage facility” aron didto ipahimutang sa maong lugar ang mga produkto nga wala mabaligya ug aron malikayan ang pagkalugi sa mga negosyante.
Ang mga stalls o pwesto sa Taboan nga wala mapahimusli sa lokal nga panggamhanan maoy himoon nga storage facility.
