City coops granted P9.8-M loan

BUTUAN CITY, June 11 (PIA) – The local government allotted funds amounting to P9.8 million as support for the 65 registered barangay-based.
Earlier, each of the 65 cooperatives were granted a no-interest loan worth Php150,000 as capital for their projects.
Reynaldo Piencenaves, chief of City Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (CCEDO) advised the cooperative that gradual payment should be made by the cooperatives so that they can avoid liquidity problems later.
The City Treasurer's Office targets to collect P3 million in loan repayments this year, he said. (PIA-Caraga)
City Library continues to provide service on Saturdays

BUTUAN CITY, June 11 (PIA) - In response to requests of students and teachers, the Butuan City Library announced that it will provide services even on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
According to Ms. Grace Montilla, chief of the Butuan City Library, students, teachers and even researchers may now have the opportunity to use the library facilities even during Saturdays.
“There are some instances where students, especially in the graduate school have only the time to use the library during Saturdays because they are working during weekdays. Thus, we really have to understand situations like these,” Montilla said.
Montilla said the city library is using Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) and Book Borrowing Database for easy access and use of the books and other reading materials inside the library.
With these developments, students and researchers are advised to visit and make use all the facilities and services inside the city library. (PIA-Caraga)

82 ka mga Senior Citizen ang nitambong sa maong kalihukan ug daku ang kalipay sa mga Senior Citizen sa maong programa sanglit taliwala sa ilang pangidaron gitagaan guihapon sila sa dakung pagtagad kalabot sa mga kalihukan ning dakbayan.
Nagpasalamat ang Presidente sa Senior Citizen sa Brgy. Pinamanculan nga mao si Mr. Recarte Monforte sa daku nga paghatag ug pagtagad sa atong halangdong Mayor sa mga katigulangan ning dakbayan.

Matud pa, usa kini ka mahinungdanon nga kalihukan aron mas mapalapad ug mas mapalambo ang matang sa Guidance and Counseling ingon man ang Values Integration diin pitik ug kabahin kini sa Moral Recovery Program (MRP) sanglit si Pastor Prior mao ang nanguna niini nga kalihukan, kung diin gipartisipahan kini sa nagkadaiyang designated Guidance Counselors sa tanang sekundarya ug sa elementarya.
