LTFRB-Caraga’s revenue up in 1st quarter

BUTUAN CITY, May 16 (PIA) -- The revenue of the
region’s Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) here has
increased during the first quarter of this year as compared to last year.
Although the office did not give the figures,
according to LTFRB-Caraga information officer Mikunug Darapa Jr., the region’s
earnings has increased for the period of January to April, citing that despite
continuous fuel price increase, more Caraganon operators are registering
multicab vehicles for public transportation.
With this, Darapa said multicab operators are
getting franchise so that they can legally operate here in the city, as well as
in other provinces of the region.
Aside from this, the official said those who
have previously registered have renewed their registration and there were no
records yet of operators who have terminated their franchises.
Multicabs are one of the types of
transportations that are operating within the city proper and even in some
provinces of Caraga region and are allowed to pass along the region’s national
highways.
Meanwhile, Darapa reminded the public to
transact business directly with their office or through the Land Transportation
Office (LTO) and not through fixers. He said they are strictly implementing
Republic Act 9485, otherwise known as the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.
The official further said measures are already
undertaken by their office to stop illegal fixers that are reported to have
been proliferating and victimizing vehicle operators who are registering in their

NCIP-Caraga to implement merit-based scholarship
to IPs this school year

BUTUAN CITY, May 16 (PIA) -- In an effort to
provide education to indigenous peoples, the National Commission on Indigenous
Peoples (NCIP) will start to implement the merit-based scholarships this school
year.
According to NCIP-Caraga Regional Director
Dominador Gomez, the program is aimed at giving the indigenous peoples the
opportunity to spend education, which is one of the common demands of the
tribes in the region.
Initially, Dir. Gomez said, NCIP will be
supporting eight full scholars as opening of classes for school year 2012-2013
will commence on June 2012.
The scholars are coming from the different
tribes of the region, such as Banwahon, Manobo, Mamanwa, and Higaonon. He said
these IPs have qualified in the screening conducted by the commission’s
regional office here.
As full scholars, Gomez said they will enjoy
free tuition and miscellaneous fees, as well as school uniforms, boarding house
rental, monthly stipend and even transportation expenses if there is a need for
the scholars to travel from their area/residence to the school of their choice.
Starting this year, the official said the NCIP
is allocating budget for the said program as the commission envisions to
provide education to indigenous peoples. He said the program is supporting
those IPs who are interested to go to school for personal development.
He added aside from personal development, the
scholars are also enjoined to assist their tribes’ chieftains in uplifting the
economic status of their tribes, once they have already finished their

San Juan solon keynotes province of Surigao’s
centennial rites

SURIGAO CITY, May 16 (PIA) -- San Juan lone
district Rep. Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito led on Tuesday, the rites for the
111th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Surigao at the provincial capitol
grounds.
Themed, “One People…One Lifetime: Celebrating
One Hundred Eleven Years of Proud History and Rich Cultural Legacy,” the
centennial anniversary kicked-off at 6:00 this morning with a centennial mass
at the provincial convention center followed by the centennial anniversary flag
raising attended by the officials of the province of Surigao del Norte and Surigao
del Sur, capitol and city employees, national line agencies, non-government
organizations, religious organizations and academe.
The San Juan City solon in his speech extended
his gratitude to Gov. Matugas and Cong. Francisco Matugas for inviting him to
be the keynote speaker and he stressed that he was happy knowing that the city
of Surigao and the entire province of Surigao del Norte have improved
economically since his previous visit many years back.
“My visit here was very worth it since my last
visit in 1997 and 1998. I’ve seen the difference and there is much to look
forward to for Surigao del Norte and Surigao City. Congratulations to all of
you,” said Ejercito.
Meantime, City Mayor Ernesto Matugas
congratulated the provincial officials for spearheading the first-ever
commemoration of the founding anniversary of the province of Surigao. “It is
indeed proper to raise the level of awareness of local consciousness when it
comes to our history and heritage as a province,” said Matugas.
Provincial Administrator Efren Rivas, who
represented the province of Surigao del Sur, was also elated for inviting their
province to join in the celebration “for in truth and in fact, we are part of
Surigao. We share the same roots and history.”
Gov. Sol Matugas, for her part, described the
raising of the flags of Surigao del Sur and Surigao del Norte as a sentimental
moment, “for it evokes fond memories, that once upon a time, we were one and we
journeyed together towards development.”
A self-confessed lover of history, Matugas
emphasized the value of history, “for it is in history that we realized how
great we are, 111 years ago.”
Gov. Matugas then invited all Surigaonons to
witness the unveiling of Surigaonon’s Arts and Culture Center this afternoon at
the Provincial Governor’s Mansion, the center will showcase heritage pictures
and memorabilia depicting the richness of the Surigaonon culture.
Another activity that will take place tonight
will be the “Duyom nan Pasidungog” (Night of Exaltation). During this event,
past Governors of the Province of Surigao del Norte will be honored and
recognized for their respective contributions in making what Surigao del Norte
is today. A fireworks display will then cap today’s celebration.

Butuan Rotary Club launch ‘Adopt-a-Village’
project

BUTUAN CITY, May 16 (PIA) -- The Rotary Club of
Metro Butuan (RCMB) has recently launched the “Adopt-a-Village Project” in
Barangay Tagabaca, a replication of its project accomplished in Barangay
Nongnong, here.
During the launch, Rotarian project partners
from Sebastopol, California in the United States of America graced the activity
and promote sustainable partnership with the local rotary clubs in Butuan.
Rotarian Frank Mayhew, past president of RC
Sebastopol said that they welcome the opportunity to help improve the lives of
the Butuanons by providing support through livelihood projects and schools in
the marginalized communities.
“We see the needs of the countryside and work
hard to address it with the help of our partner Rotarians from other parts of
the world. We also give emphasis on the importance of education as well as
livelihood to sustain the needs of the community,” stressed Mayhew.
Also, Rotarian Barbara Beedon of RC Sebastopol
commended the efforts of the RCMB for doing its best in extending great
volunteerism to the unfortunate ones.
RCMB president Arfie Bermudez also expressed his
gratitude to the partner Rotarians from Sabastopol for their continued support
and participation.
Bermudez further reiterated that this is the
second time that their project partners abroad are willing to support them
after the success of their first holistic project in Brgy. Nongnong, which
transformed the school to what it is now. It also gave better opportunities to
children and families.
It was also learned that RCMB has its ongoing
similar project in Jabonga, Agusan del Norte in a small scale addressing key
issues on education and livelihood specifically on Cattle dispersal.

DAR projects turned over to beneficiaries

BUTUAN CITY, May 15 (PIA) -- The Department of
Agrarian Reform (DAR) through Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project
Phase III (ARISP-III) had its formal turn-over of some two sub-projects
recently.
The recipients were Dacutan Purok-5, Sta. Fe
Farm to Market Road (FMR) and the Potable Water System (PWS) level II at
Catmonon, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, with Brgy. Sta. Fe, Catmonon and Dacutan
(SACADA) ARC.
Projects are funded by the government of Japan
through Japan International Cooperating Agency (JICA) with Yukihiro Kawahara as
a consultant team leader vis-a-vis, the government of the Philippines and
Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur.
The Dakutan to Sta. Fe FMR has a total project
cost of P36,272,163 million that covers 5.135-kilometer concrete road
benefiting 5, 578 farmers, of whom 443 are agrarian reform beneficiaries of
Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).
The project started last June 16, 2011. The
potable water system level II (PWS), on the other hand, commenced its
construction last July 11, 2011 which has a total project cost of P4,482,630
with 187 number of household served.
Governor Adolph Edward G. Plaza and Cong. Ma.
Valentina G. Plaza from the province of Agusan del Sur assisted by Mayor
Leonida P. Manpatilan of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, led the ribbon-cutting
ceremony held in the project sites.
In his message, Plaza stressed that people in the
barangays should join hands together to have a progressive community.
“These projects were the result of unity and
cooperation among the residents of SACADA-ARC. You should sustain these
projects, maximize its use to produce high-valued crops,” he further said.
Mayor Manpatilan gladly accepted the projects.
“With these projects, let us double our efforts
to become the rice basket of Agusan del Sur. These projects are indeed very
helpful in the lives of the farmers, ” she added.
She expressed gratitude to the DAR management
and the ARISP III for making the lives of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries better.
Consultant team leader Yukihiro Kawahara of JICA
by way of support also shared that they are ready to assist the government and
the farmers in the best possible way they could.
“This is just the beginning. What is important
is how you utilize the projects and make your lands productive to gain a better
quality of life,” he said in his message.
“For twelve long years of waiting, finally the
projects were realized. Let us be thankful to God above all for these blessings
and to all our stakeholders and partner agencies that become instruments in
making our dreams possible," Cong. Plaza also shared.
With the said projects, the residents of
SACADA-ARC can now transport their farm products to the market place without
hassles. In the same reason, they need not walk few kilometers everyday just to
fetch clean, safe drinking water. Water-borne diseases will also be minimized
accordingly.

PARO I Myrna R. Ferrer of DAR Provincial office, Ms. Imelda Lamboon of Central

Wounded NPA teen victim surrenders

CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City, May 16
(PIA) -- A teen-member of Guerilla Front 20, Southern Mindanao Regional
Committee surrendered to 75th Infantry Battalion at Brgy Maharlika, Bislig City
at 5:00 p.m. of May 8.
A minor at 17 years old, the young surenderee is
a resident of Upper New Visayas, Brgy Pulang Lupa, Trento Agusan del Sur and
was identified by the Philippine National Police who was abducted by the New
Peoples Army (NPA) last year.
His surrender was made possible through the help
of the barangay official of Brgy Pulang Lupa, Trento Agusan del Sur and Trento
Department of Education District Supervisor who were the ones who coordinated
with 401st Infantry Brigade and 75IB.
The teener had a gunshot wound in his left thigh
the reason he was immediately taken to Camp Evangelista Station Hospital
(CESH).
His family are Internally Displaced Persons who
evacuated due to the encounter between the government troops and NPA last
Monday in their barangay. These evacuees were checked and given relief goods by

DOLE-Caraga to ink MOA with stakeholders,
organizations on occupational safety, health

BUTUAN CITY, May 16 (PIA) -- The Department of
Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Caraga Regional Office is set to convene
stakeholders and organizations for the signing of a memorandum of agreement
(MOA) on the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
In a statement, DOLE-Caraga regional director
Ofelia Domingo said the signing of MOA aims to help prevent tragedies in the
workplace by f creating ties between the stakeholders and organization for the
welfare and well-being of the workers and their families.
The official added the convergence aims to
instill awareness among stakeholders and the general public to practice and be
vigilant on the occupational safety and health disciplines that are deemed
necessary to avoid the same incidents that happened recently here and in
Surigao City that left 24 fatalities, 17 of which died due to the Novo Jeans
and Shirts fire tragedy, and the other seven persons died by suffocation under
the estimated 25-meter closed for operation mine-pit, all found lacking on
safety awareness, discipline and practices as well as lack of protective
equipment.
Stakeholders who were invited to sign the
agreement include the Organization of Safety and Health Network
(OSHNET)-Caraga, Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), Department of
Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Caraga, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Caraga,
Philippine Information Agency (PIA)-Caraga, Butuan City government, Chamber of
Mines Caraga Region, Inc. and Butuan City and Agusan del Norte Chambers of
Commerce and Industry.
The event will take place at Luciana Convention
Center, this city on May 18, a day before the city's fiesta in honor of patron

makasali sa reintegration program ng pamahalaan

BUTUAN CITY, Mayo 16 (PIA) -- Mahigit 500 Overseas
Filipino Workers (OFWs) na sa Caraga Region ang dumaan sa pagsasanay upang
makasali sa P2 bilyon na reintegration program ng Overseas Workers Welfare
Administration (OWWA).
Ito ay napag-alaman kay Ritchel Molero,
OWWA-Caraga information officer.
Sinabi nito, buhat ng inilunsad ang programa,
wala pang OFW sa rehiyon na nakinabang sa programang ito na naging inisyatibo
ng nasyonal na pamahalaan na ang layunin ay bigyang tulong ang mga OFWs na
magtayo ng sariling negosyong pangkabuhayan.
Gayunman, sinabi ng opisyal mula inilunsad ang
programa sa rehiyon, mahigit 500 OFWs at ang kanilang mga pamilya ang dumaan na
sa entrepreneurial training and development (ETD).
Dagdag ni Molero na ang pagsasanay ay isa sa mga
kinakailangan upang mag-qualify ang mga aplikante at masasama sa programa kung
saan ang OFWs ay makakahiram ng pera sa Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) at
Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).
Parte ng reintegration preparedness ay ang
pagsasanay sa value formation, financial literacy, ETD, techno-skills at
capacity building trainings.
Sinabi rin ng opisyal na ang mga kinakailangan
sa mahigit 500 OFWs na nag-qualify sa rehiyon ay naipasa ng sa LBP at DBP para
sa karagdagang beripikasyon at katibayan ng aplikasyon, pati na rin sa pagkakilanlan
ng perang ipagkakaloob sa mga aplikante.
Sinabi ni Molero na ang mga nasabing bangko ay
patuloy pa rin sa pagberipika ng mga loan application at inaasahan na
maipamumudmod na ang halagang dapat ibigay sa lalong madaling panahon.
Dahil dito, ang OWWA-Caraga ay sumasangguni na
sa kanilang mga opisyal sa tanggapan nito sa Maynila upang sila na mismo ang
direktang makikipag-ugnayan sa mga nasabing bangko upang ang loan applications
ng OFWs sa rehiyon ay maaprobahan kaagad.
Sa ganitong paraan, sinabi ni Molero na ang OFWs
sa rehiyon ng Caraga ay makabenepisyo na rin sa programa ng administrasyong
Aquino na siguradong makakatulong sa kanila at sa kanilang pamilya na mabawasan
ang kahirapan.
Ang P2 Bilyon Reintegration Fund para sa enterprise
development ay isang loan facility, sa pakikipagtulungan ng LBP at DBP, kung
saan ang miyembro ng OWWA o kaya'y legal na dependent nito ay maaaring makakuha

serbisyong inihandog ng pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Agusan del Sur, sa
pakikipagtulungan ng ng pamahalaang bayan ng Talacogon at ng 26th Infantry
Battalion ng Philippine Army, na ginanap sa gymnasium ng nasabing munisipyo
kamakailan lang.
Ayon kay Talacogon Mayor Isaias Masendo, ang
medical group, na binubuo ng mga kinatawan mula sa Talacogon, Sta. Josefa,
Bayugan City, La Paz at ang grupo mula sa Plaza Memorial Hospital, kasama ang
Philippine Red Cross Agusan del Sur Chapter at ang 26th IB ng Philippine Army,
ay nagsimulang maghandog ng serbisyo at pagkuha ng dugo mula sa mga nagkaloob
nito.
Ayon kay Mayor Masendo, ang mga grupo ng mga
manggagamot at mga boluntaryo mula sa limang bayan na kinausap ni Gov. Plaza at
Cong. Maria Valentina Plaza na siyang magtulung-tulong para maghandog ng
kanilang serbisyo ay naging tiyak at mabilis sa paghandog ng kanilang serbisyo.
"Kung mapapansin ninyo, maraming mga batang
lalake ay may suot na malalaking t-shirts dahil sila ay natuli na. Ang mga
mesang matatagpuan sa dulo malapit sa stage, ang grupo naman ng mga kawani ng
pamahalaang panlalawigan, kasama ang mga kawani ni Cong. Tina Plaza ay abala sa
pamamahagi ng mga libreng gamot sa mga pasyente matapos silang suriin ng mga
doctor,” sabi ni Mayor Masendo.
Natuwa si Cong. Tina Plaza,sa dami ng taong
nabigyan ng serbisyo sa naturang kaganapan.
"Ako’y nagagalak at halos lahat ng aming
inaasahang pasyente mula sa limang barangay ay nandito upang mabigyan ng
medikal at dental na serbisyo. Naiintindihan ko na marami sa inyo ay hindi
kayang dalhin ang inyong mga pasyente sa isang malapit na doktor, o sa hospital
dahil sa hirap ng buhay ngayon," ani Cong. Plaza.
Dagdag ng opisyal na kung mayroon mang hindi
mapagsisilbihan sa nasabing okasyon, gagawin nila ang kanilang makakaya upang
mabigyan ng parehong serbisyo ang kalapit na mga barangay upang ang iba na
hindi nakapagpagamot ay mapaglilingkuran din sa susunod na outreach caravan.
"Para sa kaalaman ninyo, ang medikal at
dental outreach na ito ay buong taon naming ihahandog sa inyo upang
mapagsilbihan ang lahat ng bayan na sakop ng buong lalawigan, " ani Cong.

Nakaagaw pansin naman kay Gov. Adolph Edward Plaza
sa kaniyang pagdating ang maraming mga bata sa gymnasium, na ang iba ay bitbit
pa ng kanilang mga magulang. Sa pambungad niyang mensahe, nanawagan si Gov.
Plaza sa mga magulang na pag-isipan at planuhing mabuti ang pagpundar ng isang
pamilya at isaisip palagi ang kinabukasan ng kanilang mga anak dahil kung
marami ang bata sa isang pamilya, mas malaki ang problema na kanilang haharapin
habang ang mga ito ay lumalaki.
"Ilagay natin sa isang praktikal na
sitwasyon ang pamilya. Alam kong alam ninyo, na ang pamilyang may tatlong anak
lamang ay madaling suportahan ang mga nangungunang pangangailangan, tulad na
lamang ng pagkain, damit, ang kanilang edukasyon at iba pang mga
pangangailangan. Ngunit para sa isang pamilya na may siyam na anak, ang mga
magulang ay talagang mahihirapan na suportahan ang mga pangangailangan ng
kanilang mga anak, lalo na kapag ang mga ito nakatungtong na nang high school
at kolehiyo. Kaya ako ay nanawagan sa lahat ng mga magulang na laging isipin at

Nagbabala ang Department of Social Welfare and Development sa mga benepisaryo
ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P) sa CARAGA na huwag kailanman isanla
ang kanilang mga cash cards.
Ito ay matapos kumalat ang mga balitang
nakarating sa (DSWD) na diumano'y isinasanla ng ilang benepisaryo ang kanilang
cash cards.
Ayon kay Alma Patron, regional focal person ng
programa dito, ang balita ay nakarating sa kanilang tanggapan kung saan ilang
benepisyaryo ng programa sa Caraga ang diumano'y nagsasanla ng cash cards sa
mga taong kilala nila at agad namang tutubusin kung may inspeksyong gagawin ang
social welfare office na parte sa pagmonitor na gawain ng ahensya.
Dahil dito, ang opisyal ay nagbabala sa mga
benepisyaryo na kung sila ay mahuhuli, sila ay dadaan sa isang masusing
imbestigasyon at kung sila ay mapapatunayan, ito ay tatanggalin sa listahan ng
mga benepisyaryo at ang kanilang puwesto ay ibibigay sa iba.
Samantala, sinabi ni Patron na ang mga
benepisyaryo na kasalukuyang nag-wiwithdraw sa dumadaan sa counter o teller ng
bangko ay hindi dapat mag-alala dahil sa lalong madaling panahon matatapos na
rin ang proseso ng kanilang cash card at maaari na itong mag-withdraw ng cash
sa mga automated teller machines (ATMS).
Ang 4Ps ay isang estratehiya na pagtugon ng
pamahalaan sa kahirapan na ngbibigay ng tulong sa pinakamahirap na mga mga
mamamayan upang mapabuti ang kanilang kalusugan, nutrisyon, at edukasyon lalo
na sa mga kabataan na may edad 14 pababa. Ito ay ibinatay sa matagumpay na
Condition Cash Transfer (CCT) Programs sa Latin America at Africa.
Ang CCT ay kilala na isa sa nangungunang
positibong socio-economic outcomes na nakuha ng Brazil kung saan ay 11 milyon
na pamilya ay kasalukuyang nakalista sa programa at maging sa ibang bansa.
Sa Enero sa taong ito, umabot sa 2,112
benepisyaryo sa Caraga region ang nakakuha ng kanilang cards.
Sa 2011 4Ps Accomplishment Report sa Caraga
Region, lumabas na ang compliance rate ng mga benepisaryo ng Pantawid Pamilya
sa kundisyon ng kalusugan, edukasyon at Family Development Session (FDS) ay

para sa Brigada Eskwela 2012

BUTUAN CITY, Mayo 16 (PIA) -- Nakahanda na ang
Department of Education (DepEd)-Agusan del Norte Division para sa gaganaping
pangkalahatang “Brigada Eskwela 2012” ngayong Mayo 21-25.
Ayon kay Florante More Jr. ng DepEd-Agusan del
Norte, ang kaganapan ay lalahukan ng mga magulang ng mga batang mag-aaral sa
pampublikong elementarya at high school sa bansa.
Ang limang araw na Brigada Eskwela ay
pangungunahan ng mga guro at school administrators sa lahat ng pampublikong
paaralan.
Sinabi ng opisyal na habang sinasagawa ang
aktibidad, ang mga lalahok ay kinakailangang pagandahin ang paaralan, pati na
rin ang pagkumpuni ng mga pasilidad, at mga kagamitan nito kagaya ng upuan,
mesa, at pisara kaya't hinimok niya ang mga magboboluntaryo upang magbigay ng
kanilang oras, pagsisikap, at pati na ang pagbibigay ng mga materyal tulad ng
pintura, semento, kahoy, at iba pang materyal na magagamit sa pag-aayos ng
paaralan.
Sa pangkalahatan, ang aktibidad ay isang paraan
sa paghahanda ng mga pasilidad ng paaralan para sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng
pasukan sa Hunyo, at upang hindi gamitin ang oras ng mga mag-aaral sa
paglilinis, pagpapaganda at pagkukumpuni ng mga nasabing pasilidad, nang sa
gayon ay masimulan na kaagad ang regular na klase.
Ang Brigada Eskwela ay kilala rin na “Bayanihan

BUTUAN CITY, Mayo 16 (PIA) -- Nagbigay ng tulong
pinansyal si Bise Presidente Jejomar Binay sa mga pamilya ng biktima ng sunog.
Sinabi ni Vice Presidential Staff Ritch Rosario
na ang pangalawang pangulo ay nagbigay ng inisyal na tulong pinansyal sa mga
pamilya ng pitong biktima na nakilala na ng Scene of the Crime Operatives, na
nagkakahalaga ng P3,000 bawat isa.
Sinabi din ni Rosario na ang parehong tulong
pinansyal ay ibinigay din sa tatlong nakaligtas na ngayon ay naka-confine sa
isang pribadong hospital dito.
Sinabi din nito na ipinaabot ng pangalawang
pangulo ang kaniyang pagdadalamhati sa mga pamilya ng nawalan.
Dahil dito, sinabi ng opisyal na ang pamilya ng
mga biktima ay maaaring sumangguni sa lokal na pamahalaan upang kunin ang
nasabing tulong pinansyal.
Ang sunog ay naganap madaling araw ng Miyerkules
(Mayo 9) na lumamon sa anim na mga establismento sa Montilla Boulevard dito, at
kumitil sa buhay ng 17 sales ladies ng Novo Jeans and Shirts.
Kabilang sa mga establismentong tinupok ng apoy
ay ang Smart Wireless, Saint Peter’s Office, Ayala Life Insurance, Digi-Life
cell phone store, Western Union, at isang badminton court.
Sa ngayon ang lokal na pamahalaan ay gumagawa ng
imbestigasyon. Samantala, isang hiwalay na imbestigasyon din ang ginagawa ng
nasyonal na pamahalaan na pinamumunuan ni kalihim Jesse Robredo ng Department
of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Ayon sa balita, nakilala na ng SOCO ang lahat ng
17 na biktima na hindi na makilala dahil sa sobrang pagkasunog.
Noong Sabado, bumisita rito si Sec. Robredo
upang personal na mag-imbestiga sa naturang insidente. Dinala rin ng kalihin
ang isang grupo galing sa Bureau of Fire Protection Arson Investigation Section
upang magsagawa ng imbestigasyon.
Ang Hepe ng DILG ay namigay din ng pinansyal na
tulong sa pamilya ng mga biktima pati na rin sa tatlong nakaligtas sa sunog.
