DAR AgNor prepares for 2014 CARP Anniversary

BUTUAN CITY, June 8 (PIA) - The Department of
Agrarian Reform (DAR) in the province of Agusan del Norte has started preparing
for this year’s 26th Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) Anniversary
Celebration to be held in the month of June this year.

Atega, CESO V mobilized a task force involving department heads, Municipal
Agrarian Reform Program Officers (MARPOs) and the technical working group to
make the event more fruitful, with shouts and cheers.
Upon PARPO II Atega’s instructions, the Division
Chiefs, Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officers (MARPOs) and technical
working group have prepared a detailed agenda.
Some of the highlights of which will be the
thanksgiving mass followed by Farmers Motorcade and Farmers’ Congress on
Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
Farmers and guests will convene at the Luz
Village Covered Court for a ceremonial gathering and handover of Certificate of
Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) and checks for credit assistance to the
farmer-beneficiaries.
A representative from the Agrarian Reform
Committee of congress is expected to attend the said activity. (DAR-Agusan del
