SurSur medical center set to launch ‘Hi5’ in kick
off for 2015 National Hospital Week celebration

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur, Aug. 9 (PIA) – The
state-owned Adela Serra-Ty Memorial Medical Center (ASTMMC) here headed by Dr.
Ponciano Limcangco is set to launch on Monday the Universal Health Care (UHC)
High Impact 5 or the “Hi5” program of the Department of Health (DOH) in time
for the kick off ceremony of the National Hospital Week 2015 celebration on
August 6-12.
According to Karl Roz, ASTMMC public information
officer (PIO), the event is going to start at 7:00 a.m. by way of a motorcade.
He added however that the Hi5 formal launch is
going to take place at the hospital ground at around 9:00 a.m.
It was learned that UHC Hi5 intensifies the
implementation of the five major health programs of the DOH that aims to
achieve various elements of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) especially
in the reduction of infant and maternal mortality as well as HIV/AIDS, malaria
and other diseases.
A press conference is also set at 2:00 p.m. at the
