145 FRs graduate from TESDA’s skills, livelihood
trainings

BUTUAN CITY, Oct. 14 (PIA) -- Some
145 former rebels from Sitio Ibuan, Barangay Mampi in the municipality of
Lanuza, Surigao del Sur have graduated from the different skills and livelihood
trainings provided by various government agencies in the region.
With this development, the
provincial government of Surigao del Sur has extended financial assistance to
the graduates in the amount of P500,000.00, while the Department of Labor and
Employment (DOLE) has promised to allocate P600,000.00 fund under the Tulong
Panghanapbuhay sa ating Disadvantaged / Displaced Workers (TUPAD) thru the
cash-for-work program.
Secretary Isidro LapeΓ±a,
Director-General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority
(TESDA), together with Undersecretary Joann Burgos, representing Cabinet
Secretary Karlo Nograles also witnessed the said event.
“The locals need not to go to the
government agencies to avail of the different programs because the government
agencies are the ones coming to the communities to provide the programs they
need. This is one way of bringing the government closer to the people,” said
Sec. LapeΓ±a.
It can be recalled that on March
2, 2018, some 23 New People’s Army (NPA) and supporters have surrendered to the
36th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army while on March 25 this year, 64 NPA
supporters and members have also voluntarily surrendered and returned to the
folds of the law, and all of them are residents of Sitio Ibuan.

nga nagtugot kang Gobernador Dale B. Corvera sa pagpirma sa Deeds of Absolute
Sale tali sa napulo ka benepisyaryo sa RTR Hometown Association, Inc. kun
RTRHAI kalabot sa pagpanag-iya sa yuta nga gipanag-iyahan sa gobyerno nga
nahimutang sa Purok 2, Barangay 2 Poblacion, RTR, Agusan del Norte.
Ang maong lakang girekomendar sa
Committee on Human Settlement, Land Use, and Provincial Properties diin tsirman
si Bokal Rodulfo A. Pitogo. Nakita niini nga gibayran na sa gobyerno sa
probinsya ang National Housing Association pinaagi sa Local Housing Fund
Allocation sa Second Congressional District sa Agusan del Norte nga nagkantidad
og P2,250,500.00 apil na ang gasto sa yuta niini. Ingon man nakita sa maong
komitiba ang mga resibo sa mga nanag-iya sa maong luna nga nagpakita nga sila
nakabayad na sa kadaiyang yuta nga ilang gipalit.
Aron sa legal nga pagbalhin sa
pagpanag-iya sa yuta ngadto sa napulo ka benepisyaryo, isip ang provincial
government may tag-iya sa maong yuta, gitagaag pagtugot si Governor Dale alang
sa pagpirma sa mga indibidwal nga Deed of Absolute Sale usa ka importanteng
dokumento aron legal ug epektibo ang pagbalhin sa titulo sa matag benepisyaryo.
Mahibaloan nga ang kanhi nahaunang
kongresista, Hon. Edelmiro A. Amante, Sr., nag-aprobar ug gi-endorso sa
National Housing Authority ang hangyo sa lalawigan nga makuha ang 1.8004
ektarya, nga nahimutang sa munisipalidad sa RTR.
