PSA Caraga chief enjoins Caraganons to support the QSPBI
BUTUAN CITY -- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has started the distribution of questionnaires for the conduct of the 3rd quarter 2021 Quarterly Survey on Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) in Caraga region. The questionnaires were distributed starting Sept. 13 until Oct. 1, 2021 and will be collected starting the 1st week of Oct. to the 3rd week of December 2021.

According to PSA Caraga regional director Dr. Rosalinda C. Apura, the conduct of the 2021 Quarterly Survey on Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) is one of the designated statistical activities of the agency that collects data on employment, compensation, value production (for mining and quarrying and manufacturing sectors), total revenue, total inventory of goods, and capacity utilization.
“The results of the survey will provide inputs in the compilation of the Quarterly National Accounts (QNA) and in the construction of Quarterly Economic Indices (QEI) and for monetary policy review of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas which measure the performance of the Philippine Economy,” Apura said.
Dir. Apura enjoined all sample establishments of Caraga region to respond truthfully and timely in the Quarterly Survey on Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI).
She also assured that all the data and information furnished by a respondent to statistical inquiries, surveys and censuses of the PSA shall be treated as confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation or regulation as provided under Article 55 of Republic Act 10625.
