CARAGA will have rains with gusty winds caused by TD Verbena. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains. Minimal to minor threat to life and property due to strong winds. Rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to TD VERBENA. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains. Moderate winds from northwest to southwest prevails on the rest of Mindanao, with moderate seas (1.5 to 2.5 meters).

‘Bisaya Gyud’ distributes food packs in Surigao Norte

SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte -- The neophyte party-list group 'Bisaya Gyud' visited the typhoon victims in the province of Surigao del Norte and gave food packs to augment the relief efforts of the government.

The group, through its “Operation Tabang OdettePh” program, distributed a total of 200 food packs items to the typhoon victims in Barangay Canlanipa, Surigao City which was received by punong barangay Joel Cambalon and another 200 food packs items were also distributed to the typhoon victims in Barangay Tinugpahan in Sison town received by punong barangay Ronnie Robantes.

As part of attaining food sufficiency and provide relief and recovery in this time of calamity, the group continues its distributions of food packs to the typhoon victims in the province.

The ‘Bisaya Gyud’ party-list primarily aims to uphold the rights and welfare of the Bisaya and continue the legacy and development programs instituted by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Senator Bong Go in the regions of Visayas and Mindanao. (PIA-Surigao del Norte)
