Tandag City launches
pediatric vaccination
TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- The city government of Tandag on Tuesday successfullylaunched the pediatric vaccination for children aged 5-11 years old.
Dubbed 'Resbakuna Kids: Pediatric Vaccination', the pediatric vaccination site at Telaje Covered Court, this city, was transformed into a kiddie fair. Kids waiting to get vaccinated were entertained with mascots and their favorite TV shows. Cotton candy, ice cream, and meals were provided at the food station. A photobooth was also set up in the area, where children were able to take pictures that served as their souvenir from the jab. Office representative Faith Opada; Provincial Health Officer Dr. Eric
Montesclaros; CLGOO Olivia Bagasbas; Sangguniang Panlungsod Members Tata Perez,
Denden Tan, and Vicky Avila; and punong barangays Kharin Momo of Barangay
Telaje, Rocky Roger Pimentel of Barangay Mabua, and Sheila May Perez of
Barangay Maticdum.
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Eric Montesclaros
said a total of 127 children received their first dose during the launching.
