BCPO takes part in multi-agency send-off of security forces for the upcoming elections
BUTUAN CITY -- The Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) showed force and resources on May 4, during the Send-Off Ceremony of Security Forces for the National and Local Elections (NLE) 2022.
Four days before the NLE, the multi-agencies showed forces as the send-off ceremony commenced at the BCPO headquarters, Malvar Circle, Butuan City. This is part of the commitment of the security forces in the fulfillment of a safe, secure and peaceful elections.
Among the highlights of the ceremony included the blessing of the 177 deployable BCPO forces and the Basic Internal Security Operation Course (BISOC), Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) augments, officiated by the BCPO life coach Pastor Ronel Abendanio.
In his message, Atty. Mark Christer Sorilla, the city election supervisor, reminded all the security forces in the fulfillment of their duties without fear or favor, to protect and serve and to implement the mission within the bounce of the law for the COMELEC is there to defend and protect them.
“We have already prepared our action-oriented efforts to ensure a violent-free and fraud-free election, and also to affirm our pledge of commitment for a non-partisan, secured and peaceful May 2022 elections,“ said BCPO City Director PCol Excelso L. Lazaga, Jr.
The personnel of the 23rd Infantry Battalion and 65th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army; Philippine Coast Guard (PCG); 1302 Maritime Police Station; Department of Education (DepEd) Butuan City; Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), representatives from the City Health Office; BCPO Life Coach Pastor Ronel Abendanio; station commanders of BCPS 1-5; force commander of the Butuan City Mobile Force Company; and other deployable BCPO personnel actively took part in the said event.
