Army reservists take part in 'Operation Tuli' in Butuan
BUTUAN CITY -- The reservist personnel from 1501st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn) with the supervision of the 1501st Community Defense Center (CDC), 15th Regional Command Defense Group (15RCDG) took part in offering free circumcision and feeding program conducted by Eastern Gateway Eagles Club on April 30 at Barangay Ampayon, Butuan City.
The
activity forms part of the community service of the Eastern Gateway Eagles Club
wherein 67 boys with their parents lined-up with eagerness and desire to avail
free circumcision during the ‘Operation Tuli’ at the Covered Court of the said
barangay.
Along
with the free circumcision, a free medication was also given. All the
beneficiaries enjoyed free meals and snacks.
The
1501st reservist assisted on the said activity through washing of instruments
used in the Operation Tuli, crowd control and distribution of food packs. Also,
the 1501st troopers catered to 14 individuals who availed the free haircut.
