AgSur cops bust Top 7 Municipal MWP
PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- The personnel of Philippine National Police (PNP) of Agusan del Sur headed by Police Colonel Jovito C Canlapan, Acting Provincial Director nabbed the Top 7 Most Wanted Person in Municipal Level for the Violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
Suspect was arrested in his residence by personnel of Sibagat Municipal Police Station equipped with Warrant of Arrest for Violation of R.A 9262 (Physical Abuse) with Criminal Case Number 7190 issued by Hon. Ferdinand R Villanueva, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 7, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur dated April 1, 2022 with recommended bailbond amounting to PHP2,000.00.
“The arrest of this individual not only brought justice to the victims but it also keeps the community away from the threat and lawless actions that he might be causing,” said PCol Canlapan.

Your laborious efforts paved the way for justice to champion in the lives of his victims and family. To the criminals lurking in our province, you can’t hide from the force of law, for we will ensure that justice will be delivered for your lawless acts,” he added.
