Odette hit-MSMEs in Dinagat Islands receive livelihood assistance
SAN JOSE,
Dinagat Islands, May 31 (PIA) -- A total of P1.6 million worth of livelihood
kits were distributed to 127 identified Typhoon Odette-hit Sari-Sari Store
Owners in Basilisa town in Dinagat Islands through the Livelihood Seeding
Program (LSP)- Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG).
The 127
Sari-Sari Store Owners were from Barangay Tag-abaca, Ferdinand, Sto. Nino, DoΓ±a
Helene, and barangay Melgar.

Clover Vales, a representative on behalf of Mayor Ozzy Reuben Ecleo, attended
the event with DTI- Dinagat Islands Provincial Director Elmer M. Natad.
According to
Provincial Director the said LSP-PPG is a post-disaster response
program that addresses the needs of ongoing economic activities through the
provision of livelihood assistance to business enterprises affected by fire and
