POPCOM Caraga beefs-up anti-hunger drive
BUENAVISTA, Agusan del Norte -- The Commission on Population and Development continues its strong commitment in an inter-agency campaign against hunger and poverty in the region. The Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) coordinated with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) aims to address key challenges in social and economic inclusive growth to ensure food security and improve the quality of life among Filipinos.
POPCOM Caraga, represented by Ms. Rutchie C. Saluta, Information Officer III, recently joined the Regional Convergence Team Meeting conducted by EPAHP Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) via Google Meet.
The said meeting highlighted the EPAHP Implementation Updates, presentation of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Department of Agriculture – Agriculture Training Institute (DA-ATI), and Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) as the new additional partner agencies and introduction of the new EPAHP RPMO staff.
