Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Northern Luzon. Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by ITCZ. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains. Rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to ITCZ. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas. (0.6 to 2.5 meters).

Tree Planting

A volunteer who carried seedlings going to the planting site in Sitio Malinao in Barangay Bonbon, Butuan City. Despite the sloppy area, he managed to haul and reach one of the planting  sites of the simultaneous nationwide tree planting activity. The seedlings are part of the more than 1,000 seedlings to be planted in the area.

The tree planting activity is in time with the 65th birthday celebration of President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr. facilitated by the DILG, DENR and other concerned agencies. (NCLM, PIA-Caraga)
