(PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST as of Saturday, 19 July 2025) As of 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “CRISING” was located at 530 km east of Juban, Sorsogon (13.0°N, 128.9°E). It has maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving west-northwest at 15 km/h. Tropical Depression Crising is currently affecting Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte, while the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the rest of Mindanao. Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to TD Crising. Flash floods or landslides are possible during moderate to at times heavy rainfall. Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and the rest of Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the Southwest Monsoon. The rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, also due to the Southwest Monsoon. Winds will be moderate from the southwest to west, with moderate seas (wave height: 1.2 to 2.5 meters).

DTI ADN distributes livelihood kits to MSMEs in Buenavista

BUTUAN CITY -- The Department of Trade and Industry- Agusan del Norte (DTI ADN) Provincial Office through the Negosyo Center Buenavista distributed livelihood kits under the Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo Sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) and conducted an orientation on How to Start an Online Business on October 4, 2022. A total of 5 MSMEs who are sari-sari store owners received the livelihood kits valuing at Php40,000. 

"Kami mapasalamaton sa DTI nga naapil mi ani nga program. Kani dako najud kaayong tabang sa amo nga mga gagmayng negosyante nga mas mapalambo pa namo ni puhon (We are thankful to DTI for including us in the program, it is a big help to us with small businesses)." said Ms. Lalyn Cacayan, one of the beneficiaries of the said activity.

The LSP-NSB is a program of DTI that allows a wider reach of business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials. Through Barangay Development Councils (BDCs), the DTI shall help capacitate barangay personnel by providing basic business advisory or information dissemination services to MSMEs in the locality.

Present during the activity were SB Member Lucia E. Jundis who welcomed the beneficiaries and encouraged them to make their businesses grow, and Mr. Glen Jaen, Executive Assistant, who gave inspirational message to the beneficiaries. (DTI Agusan del Norte/PIA Agusan del Norte)
