1501RRIBn welcomes new officers
BUTUAN CITY -- The 1501st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (1501RRIBn) under the supervision of 1501st (Agusan del Norte) Community Defense Center (1501CDC) held an Installation and Change of Office Ceremony of the Operations Section and Sergeant Major Post of 1501RRIBn at the 1501CDC Multipurpose Hall, Camp Romualdo Rubi, Bancasi, Butuan City last Sunday, February 5, 2023.
Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Rogelio Sultan (Reserve), Commanding Officer of 1501RRIBn, served as the presiding officer of the said event.
2nd Lieutenant (2Lt) Vic
Denver Palawan having served as the Acting Operations Officer of the Battalion
for one year and three months was replaced by 2Lt Erick Exclamador, who came
from schooling and have undergone the Infantry Officer Basic Course (IOBC) at
the Mindanao Army Training Group (MATG), Training and Doctrine Command
(TRADOC), Philippine Army (PA) in the last Quarter of 2022.
Also, Master Sergeant
(MSg) Leo Deluvio, assumed the post of the Battalion Sergeant Major (SM) of the
1501RRIBn after hurdling the Sergeant Major Course (SMC) at the
Non-Commissioned Officer School (NCOS), Army Leadership Development Education
Center (ALDEC), TRADOC, PA also at the last quarter of 2022 replacing Staff
Sergeant Charles Galgo, who served as the acting Battalion SM for almost four
months.
Meanwhile, Major Roque
Agosila (Reserve) and 2Lt Hikiempth Rivero (Reserve) were designated as the
Battalion Executive Officer and the Personnel Officer, respectively.
LTC Sultan gave his
appreciation to the outgoing operations officer and SM for their services
rendered during their term and congratulated the newly designated staff of the
battalion.

commitment is a manifestation of your undying volunteerism, thank you for your
