1502 CDC, 544ECB participate in raising 1 million fruit-bearing trees

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – The organic and reservist personnel of 1502nd Community Defense Center (1502CDC), 15th Regional Community Defense Center (15RCDG), Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine Army (PA), together with the personnel from 544th Engineering Construction Battalion, 52nd Engineering Brigade, PA, converged their efforts for the conduct of the tree planting activity on March 9, 2023 at Capitol Compound, Camp Democrito Plaza, Patin-ay, Prosperidad this province.


The activity was part of the "Raising of One Million Fruit-Bearing Trees" project, which was launched in conjunction with the 126th Philippine Army Founding Anniversary.


The participants were able to plant 100 assorted fruit-bearing trees and 50 Mahogany seedlings. A total of one hundred fifty (150) seedlings were planted. (2Lt Adones L. Apilada, Executive Officer, 1502 CDC)
