112 cadre-trainees graduate for R-PSB in Sursur
TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur – A total of 112 cadre-trainees from the 2nd Batch
passed and graduated the Revitalized - Pulis sa Barangay (R-PSB) as they
participated in the Closing Ceremony spearheaded by the Surigao del Sur Police
Provincial Office on March 10, 2023, at the Vicente T. Pimentel Jr. Memorial
Social Hall in Tandag City.
The activity supports the implementation of the National Task Force to
End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) in the province of Surigao del
Sur.
First District Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Ruel D. Momo, graced the
occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
“With the launch of the R-PSB Program of the Philippine National Police, we are
confident that you will be instrumental in establishing barangay good
governance through policy interventions and community support programs focused
on preventing the resurgence of insurgence, insulating the unaffected communities,
and securing the implementation of government, projects and initiatives,” Momo
said.
The Declaration of Graduates was confirmed by Area Police Command-Eastern
Mindanao (APC-EM) Commander Pol. Lt. General Filmore Escobal. In his
message, Escobal urged the PNP cadres to never stop learning and growing.
“The world is constantly changing, and as R-PSB PNP personnel, you must be
prepared to adapt to these changes. Seek out opportunities to improve your
skills and knowledge, and be open to new ideas and perspectives. Remember that
learning is a lifelong process, and it is never too late to pursue new
opportunities for personal and professional growth,” Escobal added.
The Signing of the Pledge of Commitment also took place during the event and
the Send-Off Ceremony of the R-PSB graduates who will be deployed to the
different barangays in Surigao del Sur.
Meanwhile, Escobal was accorded a Foyer Honor by Police Regional Office 13
chief Police Brigadier General Pablo G. Labra II and warmly welcome by Surigao
del Sur Police Provincial Office (SDSPPO) Provincial Director Police Colonel
