152 Reservist get promotions to next rank

AGUSAN DEL SUR -- The 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (1502RRIBn) under the supervision of its new Acting Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Teodoro N. Plaza (Res) led the donning of ranks to its 152 reservist personnel on March 4, 2023, at the Philippine Normal University (PNU)–Mindanao, Prosperidad, this province. 

The Donning of Ranks Ceremony was graced by LTC. Santiago B. Cane, Jr., (Res), Provincial Governor of Agusan del Sur, duly represented by Brigadier General (BGen.) Jonathan G. Ponce (Ret). 

Those promoted were four Staff Sergeant, 17 Sergeant, 22 Corporals, and 109 Private First Class.

In his speech, Ponce, urged the promoted personnel to continue their commitment and perseverance in serving the people of Agusan del Sur.

“Your promotion today exemplifies achievement and is rooted with enormous potential and incentive to further convey your values, wisdom, and vision. Hence, it’s important to remember that with greater authority comes greater responsibility and as leaders of the Reserve Force, it is your duty to serve with selflessness, integrity, and professionalism,” Ponce added.
