DOLE Caraga rewards personnel with health and wellness services

BUTUAN CITY -- To show appreciation and gratitude to its personnel who have served as agents of change in employment facilitation, worker’s protection, and livelihood assistance, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Caraga conducted a Health and Wellness Day at the DOLE Caraga Regional Office grounds.

This one-day activity gave all DOLE Caraga personnel an opportunity to relax and recharge themselves at work.

The staff enjoyed the beauty and wellness services offered by partner organizations such as,  massage from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-accredited therapists; Mary Kay beauty by Melody G. Viste and company; and aromacology by Emee Lopez and Ramil Lopez. For health, the employees also joined the Zumba dance as a warm up activity of the day.

In his message, DOLE Caraga OIC-Assistant Regional Director Raymond Fel F. Sajor, on behalf of DOLE Caraga Regional Director Joffrey M. Suyao, thanked all the employees of DOLE Caraga for their contributions to reaching DOLE Caraga’s vision and performing its mandate in the region.

"This Health and Wellness activity is one of DOLE Caraga's ways to salute all our employees and encourage everyone to push for gender-responsive DOLE programs and services in contribution to building a better Caraga region. I hope that this activity would not only strengthen our camaraderie but also inspire our staff to support a more inclusive society. We are also grateful to our partners for providing their services which made this Health and Wellness Day successful," OIC-ARD Sajor said.

DOLE Caraga Labor and Employment Officer III Jenelibeth Manzanares also expressed her gratitude for the activity.

"Mapasalamaton ko ug maayo kay nibalik ni siya, ang Health and Wellness Activity, after sa COVID-19 pandemic. Salamat pud kay nahatagan ug oportunidad ang mga empleyado na mu relax ug ma showcase ang nagkalahi lahi nilang talento during sa activities (I’m so thankful that we are again able to have this kind of activity, the health and wellness for all personnel, after the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you also to DOLE for giving us the opportunity to relax and showcase our talents during this activity)," she stated.
