Caraga, Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental and Zamboanga del Norte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Easterlies. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains. Rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Easterlies. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to north prevails over the eastern section with moderate to rough seas (2.1 to 3.5 meters). Elsewhere, light to moderate winds from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.5 meters).

DTI Dinagat Islands conducts CMCI briefing, kicks off in Dinagat town

SAN JOSE, Dinagat Islands -- The Department of Trade & Industry-Dinagat Islands recently conducted  the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Briefing and Roll out Session for the local government unit of Dinagat of this province. 

The activity allowed  the participants to understand the importance of CMCI and its indicators towards local and national competitiveness. 

The CMCI is a flagship program of the Department of Trade and Industry that annually ranks LGUs at the provincial, city and municipal levels based on the data gathered and processed to determine their competitiveness ranking, hinged on five competitiveness pillars namely, Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastracture, Resiliency and Innovation.
