La Paz police provides safe, peaceful conduct of program visitation, service caravan
AGUSAN DEL SUR – The personnel of La Paz Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by Police Major Aldrin Salinas, officer-in-charge, recently provided security coverage and participated in the Upland Sustainable Agri-Forestry Development (USAD) site visitation and the Government-On-Wheels Program 2023, at the covered court of Barangay Lydia, La Paz in Agusan del Sur.
Present during the said
event were the Sanguniang Panlalawigan (SP) members, different government line
agencies and local government unit of La Paz, Agusan del Sur headed by
Vice-Mayor Rabella Isabel Justo, together with the SB members,
Municipal Health Office (MHO), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Red
Cross – Agusan del Sur Chapter, Land Transportation Office (LTO), Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Philippine Statistics
Authority (PSA), Commission on Elections (COMELEC), and representatives from
the religious sector through Pastor Richard Borja, Faith Baptist Church, including
all the staff of the LGU, barangay officials, and members of the Kabataan
Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT).
In this activity, the
Philippine National Police personnel assisted in the giving of free meals and
snacks to the constituents of the said barangay. This is in relation to the
community outreach program of the PNP and LGU. Other personnel also conducted
the distribution of information, education, and communication (IEC) materials
on Ligtas Summer Vacation (SUMVAC) 2023, and encouraged the constituents of
Barangay Lydia to support the PNP Revitalized KASIMBAYANAN, and “Buhay Ingatan,
Droga’y Ayawan” (BIDA) Program of the Department of the Interior and Local
Government (DILG) and PNP.
This activity strengthened
the community partnership and social awareness in crime prevention and promoted
a safe and peaceful community.
This activity is in line
with the Process Excellence (Kapayapaan at Kaayusan) and Learning and Growth
(Malasakit) Perspectives of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030, the transformation
