AgSur cops deliver 101 operational accomplishments 

AGUSAN DEL SUR -- Fueled with determination and dedication to denounce lawbreaking elements, the Agusan del Sur police led by Police Colonel Jovito  Canlapan, provincial director, intensified the implementation of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) from June 26 to July 2, 2023 that resulted to a total of 101 operational accomplishments.

The relentless efforts exerted by the 14 police stations in Agusan del Sur, of which two Provincial Mobile Force Companies (PMFCs) and Agusan del Sur Provincial Intelligence Unit (ADS PIU) yielded to three drug personalities arrested; nine individuals arrested in illegal gambling; 23 surrendered firearms; nine Most Wanted Persons and 10 Other Wanted Persons were put behind bars while there were 11 successful implementation of Service of Warrant of Arrest.

Further, two operations in illegal logging were successfully conducted; 23 in illegal fishing, and 11 communist terrorist groups were neutralized including the eight arrested and three who surrendered.

All arrested persons have been placed under police custody while charges against them are being prepared for filing in court.

“I highly commend all the PNP Personnel involved in these notable accomplishments. This only shows that the continuous active support of the community to the local authorities will yield fruitful results. Let us continue to perform our mandated task to maintain the peace and order within the province. Keep up the good work,” PCol. Canlapan said.
