During the 3rd and final PJSCC command conference held in Tandag City, Atty. Palanan who presided over the conference, with the PJSCC member agencies and partner stakeholders, expressed their commitment to serve and ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly BSKE 2023.
Atty. Palanan, on the other hand, called on and reminded everyone who renders their services in relation to BSKE to serve the people well.
“Given this chance to serve the people, let us serve them well, yun ang aking panawagan [that is my plea], because it is the only legacy we can leave to the people as public servants,” Atty. Palanan said.
The final security and deployment plans were presented by the concerned deputized member-agencies during the event. Some issues and concerns raised to the PJSCC that could possibly happen during the election day were tackled, and contingency action items on how to deal and to resolve them were thoroughly and fairly discussed by the members.
To recall, as part of the preparation of the Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (SDS-PPO) under the command of provincial director, Police Colonel Harry Domingo, a ceremonial send-off of the security forces for the BSKE was done on August 27, at the SDSPPO covered court, Camp Vicente L. Pimentel Sr., Telaje, Tandag City.
“It signified the synergy of efforts and resources of the Philippine National Police in the performance of their duties and responsibilities with utmost professionalism, credibility, and impartiality,” PCol. CariΓ±o noted. (NGPB, PIA-Surigao del Sur)
