This year’s theme sent a clear message of the consolidated efforts of the LGUs, partners from the private sector, civil society organizations (CSOs) and national government agencies (NGAs).

An ADAC Performance National Award recognizes the best and performing ADACs that were able to comply with the prescribed functionality indicators and implemented anti-illegal drug interventions and initiatives in support of the reduction of drug abuse in their areas of jurisdiction.

In the region, there are 62 LGUs with High ADAC Functionality, while 16 received the Moderate ADAC Functionality.

The ADAC performance audit is under the umbrella program of  Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) of DILG in the implementation of Executive Order No. 66: “Institutionalizing the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS).”

The result of the ADAC performance audit served as one of the indicators under the safety, peace and order governance area of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG). This is to ensure the continuous improvement in the performance of ADACs in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of anti-illegal drug activities in the country. (LGOO VI Florian Faith Jr. P.
