DA capacitates personnel, technical workers on lowland vegetables, bulb onion production in PDI

The Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Program Coordinating Office (DA-APCO) in the Province of Dinagat Islands recently conducted a training on Lowland Vegetables and Bulb Onion Production at RAFTITTI, INC P-2 Cuarinta, San Jose.

The training capacitated the DA personnel, and the agriculture extension workers with the technical knowledge and skills on lowland vegetable and onion production, with consideration on cultural practices, postharvest practices and marketing aspects in vegetable farming.

It was attended by the Edito Casido and  Milky Ebueza as representatives of Provincial Agriculture Office, municipal agriculture officers namely, Marivic Lumpay of Tubajon, Edilyn Salupan from Libjo, Carol Equibal of Cagdianao, Meravilla Canico from LGU-Dinagat, Reynaldo Munar from San Jose, together with the 25 technical staff members from the Field Operations Division, including the banner program and special projects such as  the Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (4K) and  Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) and the APCO-PDI personnel.
