Agusan Sur cops participate on explosive incidents, evidence recovery orientation

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- The Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO), under the leadership of Police Colonel Jovito C. Canlapan, provincial director, recently conducted an orientation on handling explosion incidents and evidence recovery.

This initiative was organized in collaboration with the Agusan del Sur Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (ADS-PECU) held at the Kabalikat Hall in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

The 48 participants were personnel from component city and municipal police stations within the province.

According to Col. Canlapan, the program's highlights included comprehensive lectures and practical exercises designed to replicate real-world scenarios, ensuring a hands-on learning experience for the attendees. This was skillfully facilitated by Police Chief Master Sergeant (PCMS) Alexander B. Fazon, team leader of the ADS-PECU.

"May the knowledge you gained today be utilized in the future, particularly in our efforts to ensure community safety," Canlapan stated.

This is in line with the learning and growth perspective of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 under the objective of developing a competent, well-motivated and value-oriented police personnel and organization in relation to the transformation program of the organization. (ADSPPO/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
