Agusan Sur cops yield 20 operational accomplishments before new year
PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- From December 18 - 24, 2023, the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) yielded a total of 20 operational accomplishments, following its intensified implementation of 48th weeklong anti-criminality law enforcement operation (ACLEO).
In line with this, there were eight firearms successfully turned-over to the local authorities while 12 individuals were cited/fined on illegal fishing.
According to Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan, provincial director of ADSPPO, all arrested persons were placed under police custody while charges against them are being prepared for filing in court.
"We promise to do everything we can, to stamp out all the crimes existing in the province. And we will continue to serve justice to the victims and make Agusan del Sur as one of the safest provinces in the country. Good job and congratulations everyone!" said Canlapan.
