CPD-13 gears up for upcoming executive visit
BUENAVISTA, Agusan del Norte -- Anticipation builds as Caraga Region prepares to extend a warm welcome to Undersecretary Lisa Grace S. Bersales, CPD executive director V, during her upcoming visit from February 29 to March 1, 2024.
The visit is poised to be marked by significant events that will underscore its commitment to regional development, namely:
1. Welcoming the undersecretary:
The Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Caraga is set to
embrace the esteemed presence of Usec. Bersales, who is known for her
dedication to population and development initiatives, is expected to be greeted
with enthusiasm as the region looks forward to fruitful engagements.
2. Anticipated MOA signing for lot donation:
A pivotal moment is expected to unfold as the municipality of Buenavista
is slated to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on February 29, 2024,
donating a 1500-square meter lot along the National Highway in Barangay Abilan
to CPD Caraga. This generous donation paved the way for expanded facilities and
enhanced services, further strengthening CPD Caraga's presence and impact in
the region.
3. Anticipated groundbreaking ceremony for new CPD Caraga regional building:
The landscape of CPD Caraga's future is expected to take shape with the
groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new regional office building.
With an allotment of P18 million from the Office of Congressman Dale B.
Corvera, the groundbreaking ceremony on February 29, 2024, is anticipated to
mark the commencement of a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a hub
for innovative population and development programs.
4. PIRP prepares to welcome executive visit
On March 1, 2024, the undersecretary and their delegation are
anticipated to be welcomed to the Program Implementation Review and Planning
(PIRP) session for CPD Caraga. The engaging session is expected to provide an
opportunity to align strategies, assess performance, and set objectives that
resonate with the overarching goals of CPD.
