Further, five loose firearms were voluntarily surrendered to the authorities while 12 individuals were cited/fined with illegal fishing.

Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan said that all arrested persons have been placed under police custody while charges against them are being prepared for filing in court.

“These notable operational accomplishments will serve as a stern warning to the fugitives of justice that your provincial cops will not rest in putting them behind bars to attain justice and to uphold the rule of law. Rest assured that your agents of peace and order in the province will do our very best to maintain the peace and order in the community to finally get rid of the menaces in our society,” Canlapan underscored.

This is in line with the process excellence perspective of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 under the objective, improving the crime prevention and solution efficiency of the PPO. (ADSPPO/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
