DTI capacitates micro enterprises in Surigao Norte
SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte (PIA) – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Surigao del Norte recently concluded its training on the 2024 Kapatid Mentor Micro Enterprise Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) to micro enterprises in the province of Surigao del Norte, held at Claver town.
The event discussed topics on human resource management, good governance and ethics that brought together eager entrepreneurs and mentors in a dynamic exchange of knowledge and experiences aimed at fostering growth and sustainability.
Maylene Navalta, a Go Negosyo mentor and human resource management officer discussed the exploration of the fundamental principles of HRM, emphasizing its role as a strategic tool for maximizing organizational performance.
She further discussed and elaborated the importance of talent acquisition, retention, and development, highlighting the need for businesses to invest in their most valuable asset - the people.
