LGU Kitcharao extends medical financial aid to its workers

BUTUAN CITY -- Workers in the local government unit of Kitcharao can now avail of medical financial assistance, this according to Municipal Ordinance No. 123 of the said LGU that was recently approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

Authored by SB Member Jessie C. Morales, the financial assistance in the amount of P5,000.00 that covers hospital confinement and those needing medical check-up. Eligible to avail of said assistance are elective and appointive officials, and regular and coterminous employees in the municipality.

For availment, the official or employee, after hospitalization, must submit a letter of intent to the Mayor attaching his/her hospital bill, for approval.

The ordinance aims to promote the well-being of the municipal officials and employees of Kitcharao to stay fit and healthy in serving the public.

The said ordinance was approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan during its regular session as recommended by the Committee on Human Resource Development, Labor and Employment chaired by Provincial Board Member Rodulfo A.
