Agusan Norte legislature to release funds for rice production in Cabadbaran City
BUTUAN CITY-- In order to make the province of Agusan del Norte a commercial and agricultural center, a large amount of funds has been allocated to the province to support the implementation of rice production and marketing in the area.
This is the content of Sanggunian Resolution No. 347-2024 that gives authority to Gov. Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante for the signing of the memorandum of agreement between the province and the city government of Cabadbaran and AvanceΓ±a Beneficiaries and Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative (ABFMPC).
Included in the said agreement is the provision of funds by the province to the said cooperative in the amount of P10 million which will be used for rice production expenses and other operational costs
Also included are the duties and responsibilities that are standard for each party for the proper disposition and implementation of the said project.
This initiative is to further develop the agricultural sector of the province and to produce quality paddy rice as well as the development of the state in the livelihood of the farmers.
Through the effort and dedication of Speaker Erwin L. Dano, chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, alongside speakers Rodulfo A. Pitogo and Francisco Y.
