PBBM’s birthday celeb extends to Surigao Norte
SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte – The residents of Surigao del Norte benefited from financial assistance and government services through the conduct of the "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" on September 13 at the Surigao del Norte provincial gymnasium.
The program, launched by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., coincided with his birthday to provide essential services to Filipinos nationwide.
Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II attended the event, alongside Provincial Governor Robert Lyndon S. Barbers, Vice Governor Eddie Gokiangkee Jr., and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar.
The initiative, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Trade and Industry, Tingog Partylist, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and other agencies, extended various form of assistance to residents of Surigao City and nearby municipalities of the province.
Mayor Dumlao expressed gratitude to Pres. Marcos Jr. for the program implementation, noting its positive impact on local families, particularly Batang Surigaonons, who received the much-needed support.
The "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" aims to make government services more accessible, especially to those in areas affected by calamities, while providing livelihood opportunities and support for daily needs. (Surigao City-PIO/PIA-Surigao del Norte)
