Local entrepreneurs in Agusan Sur secure P400K AMP grants from DOLE
BUTUAN CITY -- Five micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Agusan del Sur are set to receive a P400,000 grant each, following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under the Adjustment Measures Program (AMP).
This follows a collaborative effort with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which helped identify eligible MSMEs, craft their proposals, and ensure compliance with the necessary documentary requirements.
The AMP initiative of DOLE aims to support MSMEs by equipping them with the tools, training, and innovations needed to navigate economic disruptions, enhance productivity, and promote long-term business sustainability.
The following Agusan del Sur-based MSMEs will benefit from this program:
1. JCA Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries
Multi-purpose Cooperative (JARBEMCO)
2. Obra Mano Furnitures Manufacturing
3. Tobey-Treats Foodhub (Soya Treats)
4. Woodee Farmers Café
5. Khan's Food Products
As part of the program, businesses will receive capacity-building support, operational improvements, and access to technology to enhance product quality and innovation.
This partnership underscores the commitment of both DTI and DOLE to boost MSME growth, promote job creation, and foster sustainable business practices in Agusan del Sur. (DTI Agusan del Sur/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
