400 school children in Agusan Sur benefit from Pamaskong Handog
AGUSAN DEL SUR -- A total of 400 young learners of Tagbayangbang Elementary School headed by Principal Salvador N. Peniol Jr., and Taydian Elementary School led by Principal Mary Luna Padilla benefited from the Pamaskong Handog Para sa mga Bata, held at the covered court of Brgy. Bunawan Brook, Bunawan, this province.
This was conducted on December 10 by the DAMCO Wood Industry led by Tatay Johnny and Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) led by Provincial Director Police Colonel (PCol.) Yahya Bustamante Yusup, together with Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLtCol.) Jude Cres G. Milan, chief Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit (PCADU); Police Major (PMaj.) Ralph Jezen Perez, COP Bunawan Municipal Police Station (MPS); and PLtCol. Sonny Rey Comafay, force commander of 2nd Agusan del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) combined forces.
Highlighting the said activity were the parlor games per grade level; distribution of DAMCO bags, toys, and Jollibee meal packs; and the free ice cream courtesy of 2nd ADS PMFC. It was subsequently followed by a dance presentation by the Jollibee mascot with the crew and a song presentation from team Tatay Johnny of DAMCO Wood Industry.
"Ang kapulisan ng probinsya ay nagagalak na makita natin na ang ating mga kabataan ay masaya sa ganitong programa sapagkat kami po ay naniniwala na ang Pasko ay para sa mga Kabataan," PCol. Yusup said.
Further, this activity was duly witnessed and covered by Grace Adlawon, ADS Philippine National Police (PNP) press corps member from DXAK FM.
