Tagbina’s Excellence in Grassroots Development Recognized During NSC Field Visit
TAGBINA, Surigao del Sur (PIA) -- The local government unit of Tagbina, Surigao del Sur, under the visionary leadership of Mayor Glaiza Jane Polizon-Lanete, has once again demonstrated its commitment to grassroots development through its exemplary implementation of the KALAHI-CIDSS National Community-Driven Development Program Additional Financing (NCDDP AF).
LGU Tagbina Special Program Division chief Glenn Lazaro said that the achievement was highlighted during the field visit on November 28, 2024, by the National Steering Committee (NSC), a delegation composed of representatives from various national government agencies. Lazaro added that the visit aimed to evaluate the program’s progress, assess its impact on local communities, and identify best practices to inspire similar initiatives nationwide.

Tagbina’s implementation of the KALAHI-CIDSS program reflects its
dedication to the principles of Community-Driven
