Dinagat Islands’ artisan org, local manufacturer excel at Buy Caraga by Caraga

BUTUAN CITY – The Rattan Handicraft Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association and Novah Herbal Products Manufacturing from the Province of Dinagat Islands emerged as top achievers during the Buy Caraga By Caraga Women OTOPreneur Trade Fair 2025, earning recognition for achieving one of the highest sales of the said event.

Facilitated by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Caraga at SM City Butuan on March 25-30,  the trade fair showcased the exceptional talent and entrepreneurial spirit of women-led businesses from various provinces. Among the standout participants who held the highest sales recognition, the Rattan Handicraft SLP Association impressed visitors with their intricately woven rattan products, which highlight the rich craftsmanship of Dinagatnon artisans. Meanwhile, Novah Herbal Products Manufacturing captivated customers with their high-quality herbal-based products, promoting wellness and sustainability.

Both enterprises expressed gratitude for the opportunity to present their products on a larger platform, attributing their success to strong community support, quality craftsmanship, and sustainable business practices. Representatives from the association and the manufacturing company emphasized the importance of empowering local women entrepreneurs and continuing to develop unique, locally made products that cater to both national and international markets.

The success of these businesses at the said trade fair not only highlighted their dedication and hard work but also strengthened Dinagat Islands' reputation as a hub for quality handicrafts and herbal products.
